2024 NEW PRODUCT

The Leofoto SO-X "X Version" 2-Section Inverted Carbon Fiber Tripod is an excellent choice for full-sized firearm combos that need rock-solid support for a full-length rifle chassis with a spotting scope. The robust load capacity also makes it suitable for use with extreme spotting scopes, cameras, and large format surveillance equipment. The new "X" version features a knurled-bar angle stop design which allows for one handed operation as well as leg tubes which do not cross.

The carbon fiber legs are inverted, with the widest tube at the bottom, for added stability and incredibly quick full collapse and deployment. The legs feature twist-lock joints, individual spread and three available locking positions making it possible to achieve the proper level even when on uneven terrain. This lightweight tripod is made more versatile by merit of having an included, interchangeable 75mm bowl that can be quickly exchanged for the 75mm platform.

  • Inverted Leg design for added stability and rapid setup
  • New "X" Version Angle Stop: Allows for one handed angle adjustment

Just what I needed

After spending time with my tradition 4 leg tripod, I wanted the ease of use that an inverted tripod offered. The SO36 is super stable and super fast to deploy when on the clock. I’ve decided to switch all of my tripods over to leofoto now that they offer a lifetime warranty.

Soild tripod

Like the thumb adjustment for the leg angle. Only complaint is the twist locks are backwards being inverted

Solid

Rock solid! Super fast deployment with the vented 1/4 turn legs and one hand angle adjustment. Perfect for PRS/NRL as well as in the woods. No problem with heavy competition rifles.

Great tripod for taller individuals field shooting

FULL DISCLOSURE: I used a 50% off certificate from a match prize table; however i was already gping to purchase at full price.
I purchased this tripod for use as a hunting tripod and to compete in NRL HUNTER matches.
I am 6'6" and this tripod works amazing whether kneeling, sitting or standing. It is rock solid and easy to adjust.
I also purchased the STB-75X head which is very easy to adjust and holds the rifle and binos tightly. It is tabke even fully unlocked for steady panning to find targets/animals.

I would highly recommend this tripod for taller individuals and thise in need of a field use tripod.

Leofoto SO-362CX review

Great tripod. Have shot a match with it already and it is so much better running inverted legs. Weight is nice and functions well. Sling attachment point on the table is a very nice feature.
One complaint. The ratchet for the legs needs redesigned so that each leg has an additional 3" of width. For me this tripod is tipsy especially for my 6'2" height. I would love to see a set of rachets sold as an option to widen the stance. (I know it has more positions but thats not what I want)
One suggestion. Add a HDPE plastic or nylon ring with attachment points on top of the second set of legs to allow for a tripod caddy. They would not hinder movement much and allow for a caddy or stone/ weight hammok to be applied without interfering with deployment while sliding down during deployment.
