Engineered for maximum stability and fast deployment, the STO Series X Version Rifle Tripods feature inverted carbon fiber legs (widest tube at the bottom), twist-lock joints, independent leg spread, and three locking positions for easy leveling on uneven terrain.
A knurled bar-stop allows one-handed leg angle adjustment, while non-crossing leg tubes and a single-twist locking mechanism keep the legs securely spread and prevent slippage for distraction-free shooting.
The tripod includes an integrated inverted ball head (non-removable), keeping the system compact and optimized for rifle use. It also features a hybrid clamp with separate Picatinny and Arca controls, allowing secure and versatile mounting of rifles and accessories.

Coming from a BOG Arca Infinite, which was way to short for me but locked up solid and had standard style legs that are triple pull. I have to say the single pull inverted tripod is FAAAASSTTT and deploys lightning quick and is pretty light. The downside of the single pull being its longer while collapsed (can't have your cake and eat it too).
The arca head locks up very tight and secure with adjustable tension.
The ballhead isn't very smooth compared to other offerings but the gas-pedal style tension does make up for it and locks up rock solid on anything more than half tension.

I will say first that this is only my second tripod. My first was a $99 bog with the squeeze clamp thing. That one definitely sucked. This Leofoto tripod has the ball head, which i really love. I dont really have a reference point for what a high quality tripod feels and functions like. I will say that this new setup seems extremely sturdy and solid, especially since its so lightweight. This one will go higher than eye level when fully extended. I was honestly a tad bit disappointed at my ability to achieve accuracy with my rifle. I assumed this would be equal to my success when shooting prone or from a bench, and that was not the case when using the tripod. After speaking with others who are more experienced than myself, ive heard that tripods are never as accurate of a platform as prone/bench shooting. So, apparently i shouldn't blame the adjustment of my expectations on Leofoto. The locking ball lever locks up super tight and I like the bubble level on there. I believe I should try a Leofoto branded ARCA rail, to see if the fitment is more secure between the rail and arca clamp. All in all, im happy with my purchase, but I wouldn't feel comfortable shooting at a live animal at more than 200 yards.
