TheĀ LeofotoĀ LO Mr. O Series Carbon Fiber Tripod with Built-In Hollow BallĀ is a lightweight and versatile tripod featuring a hollow ball design that allows the center column to be free of the limitation from linear vertical movement, adjusting its angle freely like a ball head. This adjustable center column positioning works along with the independent legĀ spreadĀ to allow quick leveling of a tripod head when shooting on uneven terrain. In addition to being easily positioned, the center column is removable and reversible for positioning a camera upside down and low to the ground for low-perspective and macro photography. The included short center column provides low positioning with a wide leg spread for added stability.Ā

Nice tripod for a lightweight birding setup

I'm using this tripod for birding with the Kowa TSN55 angled spotting scope, a fairly compact scope weighing about 2lbs. The pairing seems good so far. The tripod is lightweight yet sturdy, and easy to walk around with. So far the twist locks have been easy and quick to use. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star review is that the angle stop settings on the legs are somewhat finicky. I'll mostly use in the tripod in its most upright stance, so it's not that big a deal, but adjusting to the other positions is a bit clumsy.
