I needed to replace my Joby GorillaPod, since it was not able to hold the weight as it once did. I have a larger tripod but will sometimes have shots where I need to get as low to the ground as possible. Joby was my go-to but just isn't doing it anymore.
I searched a bit and found the Leofoto mini-tripod line. They're nicely manufactured and in my one test so far, it's worked great on an EOS R with a 24-35mm lens on it.
I was figuring that I'd need a larger head, since I am used to one that can work with 55 lbs of weight, despite never even coming close to this, but it has worked quite well.
